Some useful information about our library:
· Opening hours:
Our library is open for issuing and returning books every school day from 8.45 am–12.30 and from 12.55 pm- 3 pm.
· Library lunchtimes:
The library is open every lunchtime between 12.55 pm and 1.20 pm for children to enjoy. They can come in during that time to issue or return books, to read, to draw, to colour in or to play with puzzles and board games. The library is closed during wet lunchtimes.
· Borrowing times:
Children in year 0, 1, 2 can borrow 1 book for 1 week.
Children in year 3 and 4 can borrow 2 books for 1 week.
Year 5 and 6 children can borrow 2 books for 2 weeks.
· Overdue books:
We do not charge overdue fees.
Overdue slips are given out once a week. Please bring your books to school to renew or return them immediately if you receive one.
If you have already received 4 overdue slips and still haven’t returned your books, a letter will be sent home to parents to inform them about it.
In the event of a damaged or lost book, you will be
required to reimburse the school for its replacement.
· Library times:
Every class in our school has a fixed 45 minute library time each week. Books can be returned, renewed, reserved and issued during that time or at any other time during the school week.
